Ram of the Year

The “Ram of the Year” award is given to individual that exemplifies Eastside High School. Nominations are taken from the whole faculty and administration for this award. Qualities of the "Ram of the Year" vary but include leadership, determination, citizenship, attitude, and perseverance. A committee of teachers, counselors, and administrators meet to discuss the nominees and their particular qualities. A representative is chosen and revealed on Senior Awards Night.

They are a well rounded individual that is involved in the high school and in the community. Their positive attitude trickles down to everyone who comes into contact with them. They excel academically and strive to constantly do their best. Their leadership skills are put to every task they undertake and they strive to do no less than 110%.
