NJROTC teaches leadership skills, patriotism, and self discipline. Leadership positions include Platoon Commander, Drill Commander, Mustering Petty Officer, various staff positions include Commanding Officer, Executive Officer, Administration Officer, Operations Officer, Supply Officer and Public Affairs Officer.
