The program has flexibility of length depending on the needs and career goals of the student. Students completing 3 credits or more are eligible for the Florida Scholarship Program.

Students can attain advanced standing for competencies achieved in this program. Articulation agreements are currently in place at Johnson and Wales University, City College, and Bethune-Cookman College.
